ISO files on Utho Cloud are commonly used for:

  • Custom virtual machine deployment with specific OS or software configurations.

3. How do I upload an ISO file to Utho Cloud? ⬆️

To upload an ISO file:

  1. Login to your Utho Cloud account.
  2. Navigate to the ISO Listing Page.
  3. Click on the “Add ISO” button.
  4. Select the datacenter, provide the URL of the ISO file, and give it a name.
  5. Click Add ISO and wait for the system to process your upload.

4. How can I verify the status of my uploaded ISO file? ✅

Once your ISO is uploaded, you can verify its status on the ISO Listing Page. Each ISO will show:

  • Name: The name of the ISO file.
  • Size: The file size of the ISO.
  • Location: The datacenter where the ISO is stored.
  • Status: Either a download percentage (if still downloading) or Active once the file is ready for use.

5. How do I delete an ISO file from my account? 🗑️

To delete an ISO:

  1. Navigate to the ISO Listing Page.
  2. Find the ISO you want to delete.
  3. Click on the Delete icon (trash can).
  4. Confirm the deletion by clicking OK on the confirmation modal.

Once deleted, the ISO will be permanently removed from your account.

6. Can I use an ISO file to create a custom virtual machine or server? 🖥️

Yes, you can! Once the ISO file is uploaded to your Utho Cloud account, you can associate it with specific virtual machines or cloud server instances for custom installations, such as deploying an operating system or configuring software.

7. How do I refresh the status of an ISO file? 🔄

To refresh the ISO list and get updated download status:

  1. Go to the ISO Listing Page.
  2. Click the Refresh button located at the top-right corner of the page.
  3. The system will fetch the latest status for each ISO file.

8. Is there a limit to how many ISO files I can upload? 📊

There is no set limit on the number of ISO files you can upload to your Utho Cloud account. However, your account’s storage capacity may be a factor in how many ISO files you can store.

9. What should I do if my ISO file fails to upload? ⚡

If an upload fails, double-check the URL to ensure the file is accessible. Also, ensure the file size doesn’t exceed any platform restrictions. If the issue persists, try uploading from a different source or contact Utho support for assistance.

10. How do I know when my ISO upload is complete? ✔️

After uploading an ISO, you’ll see a progress bar or download percentage in the Status column of the ISO Listing Page. Once the file is fully uploaded, the status will change to Active.
