What are ISO Files?

They are used for a variety of purposes in cloud environments, such as operating system installation, software distribution, and backup. ISO files in Utho Cloud can be uploaded, managed, and utilized for creating virtual machines or configuring servers.

The purpose of ISO files is to provide users with a convenient and efficient way to deploy operating systems, software, and data in the cloud. By using ISO files in Utho Cloud, users can streamline their deployment process, reduce reliance on physical media, and ensure that custom images are available for provisioning virtual machines or configuring servers.

How to Use ISO Management in Utho Cloud
1. How to Add an ISO
- Login to your Utho Cloud Platform account.
- Navigate to the ISO Listing Page and locate the section titled “Add ISO in your account.”
- Select a Datacenter where you want to add the ISO.
- Enter the URL of the ISO file.
- Enter a Name for the ISO file.
- Click the “Add ISO” button to begin the process. A success toast notification will confirm the addition of the ISO.
2. How to View ISO Files
- After logging in, navigate to the ISO Listing Page .
- Here, you can see all the ISOs uploaded to your account with the following details:
- Name : The name of the ISO file.
- Size : The size of the uploaded ISO file.
- Location : The data center where the ISO file is located.
- Status : Either download percentage or “Active” if the download is complete.
- Action : Options to delete the ISO.
3. How to Delete an ISO File
- Navigate to the ISO Listing Page .
- Find the ISO you wish to delete in the list.
- Click on the Delete icon at the end of the ISO item.
- A confirmation modal will appear. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
4. How to Refresh ISO List
- On the ISO Listing Page , locate the “Refresh” button on the top-right corner of the page.
- Click the “Refresh” button to fetch the latest information on your ISOs.
- The list will update with the latest download progress and status.
5. How to Verify ISO Status
- To verify if your ISO has been successfully added or updated, check the ISO Listing Page .
- The Status column will show the download progress for ISOs in the downloading phase, or “Active” if the ISO is ready for use.
6. How to Manage ISO Files
- After adding an ISO, you can manage it directly from the ISO Listing Page .
- You can refresh the status, delete unnecessary files, or check for download progress.
By following these steps, you can easily upload, manage, and deploy ISO files in Utho Cloud, making your cloud environment more efficient and flexible.
