For example, if you spin up a $10/mo Server and use it for 336 hours, than you would be charged $5 (going by the hourly rate). Why am I billed for powered-off servers?

Even when your server is powered off, you're still billed because resources like disk space, CPU, RAM, and IP addresses are reserved for your use. These resources are part of your overall cloud server pricing plan, and charges continue until the instance is completely destroyed, ensuring optimal cloud cost savings while maintaining resource allocation.
